Interpretive Programs such as bus tours and hikes begin on Saturday of the Victoria Day (May) long weekend and run until mid October. Reservations are highly recommended for these popular programs.
There are Interpretive Programs for all ages and all levels of physical ability. Age limits for each program are strictly adhered to plus some programs have footwear restrictions (no sandals or crocs).
Please make sure you bring a hat, water bottle, sturdy closed toe footwear (running shoes are fine), sunscreen and insect repellent.

Get ready to investigate real fossils just like a palaeontologist! This indoor program, designed for families, will challenge your skills as amateur palaeontologists as you inspect and handle real plant and animal fossils from right here in the park. Working together you will build a picture of the ancient Cretaceous community and gain a greater understanding of what the world was like during the time of the dinosaurs.

Cancellation Policy: Participants may cancel up to 48 hours before the event and receive a refund of their program fee, however the $5 booking fee is non- refundable. Events cancelled by the participant with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded. Program cancellations may only be done by calling (403) 378-4344.
